I was so excited to see this parcel arrive! This skirt is a unique investment piece and it suits my feminine - but rock 'n' roll - style juuuuust right!
The fit is correct and as expected based on the online size guide; fabrics are crisp and well cut; printwork is clean; waistband is generous (I can wear flat or fold it over), comfortable and applied well (gathers are even); inside seams are consistant and construction is tight - with the exception of the hemline: there are small puckers all the way around (will be camouflaged with a good press) and several loose threads throughout the stitchline had to be teased out (just need to roll over the completed hem with a lint-roller).
As a short(ish) person (5'3"), I think maybe the pockets sit a bit low on my butt - they look cool and edge-y, however are are slightly low for functionality (but they just might grow on me).
The online customer service I received (from the other side of our globe) was timely, helpful, and professional - thank you, Bea, for designing such interesting garments (it was hard to choose just one!) with pocket options, for such a positive client experience, and for being willing to ship to Canada.
Please keep doing what you are doing - you are proving that exceptional clothing can be financially and environmentally sustainable!!
